Snowline & Academy Closure Information.

With the winter in full swing, we felt it important to update you with the information about the academy procedures for bad weather.

All academy closures will be reported on the local radios: Lincs FM and BBC Radio Lincolnshire. We will also have a recorded message with the latest information on (01205) 482400.

If the academy needs to close at any point during the day, whilst the children are in attendance, we will activate the emergency closure procedure. As it is impossible to have all our students using our main switchboard to contact parents please always ensure you have a plan in place. All emergency plans should be written in their homework diaries and updated accordingly. Students should know where to go to be safe should this need arise, without them feeling panicked.

If possible, we will always endeavour to have the latest information on our website too.

We invite parents of year 6 pupils to come and visit our award winning academy on Wednesday 7th October at 6.30pm.

The evening will commence with a speech by Mrs Craig, followed by the chance for you to tour our academy and meet both staff and pupils.

We look forward to seeing you and showing how we can help your child believe, achieve, succeed and enjoy.

We are Winners of PiXL Group's "Outstanding achievement in the Central Region" award.

We are delighted that the excellent work of our staff and students has gained William Lovell Academy an award.

PiXL (Partners in Excellence) awarded our academy with the award for 'Outstanding achievement in the Central Region' due to our excellent GCSE results this year. This award tops off an excellent year for pupils at our academy, which has seen them move on to the next stage of their education with excellent grades across all subjects.

We are looking forward to building on this success with our current year 11's.
